The project consists of 7 houses arranged around an interior courtyard proposed for various vacant lots within the residential neighborhoods surrounding downtown Portland, OR. The typical densisty of these urban lots has been increased in an effort to provide affordable housing opportunities for families within the inner city. Building forms are clad in a combination of charcoal stained cedar siding, natural finished cedar shakes, Zinc-cote standing seam metal siding, and Cor-ten corrugated metal siding.
